Sandra Money
Head of TV
As a fresh young university graduate I joined J Walter Thompson as a junior copywriter, later becoming a Creative Group Head working with Young & Rubicam, Bates and Lintas. Then after spending 5 years living and working in Europe and Brazil as a freelance copywriter, I moved to Australia and set up the production company Challenges Accepted, building it into one of the top three in the country. Challenges Accepted produced over a 1,000 television commercials for clients like Levis, British Airways, American Express, Coca Cola, and BMW.
After receiving an offer I couldn't refuse from George Lucas to set up a television commercial division of Lucasfilm I moved to the USA. During the next six years, I produced major TV campaigns for both the USA and clients from all over the world and filmed with many well known A list celebrities.
Eventually every traveller wants to come home so I returned to England and joined WWAV Rapp Collins in 1996 as Head of Television becoming a Board Director in 1998. In 2006 I was delighted to be reunited with the talents of John, Maria and Tod when I joined Watson Phillips Norman as Head of TV.
I am passionate about advertising, film - oh and opera. I prefer diplomacy to confrontation and I am really turned on by the challenge of new creative ways of looking at any problem - oh and I probably talk too much.
