IMP Appoints Watson Phillips Norman to New European Strategy Brief
International Masters Publishers, the worldwide publisher of cookery, wildlife, computer and other educational cardworks, has appointed DM agency Watson Phillips Norman to develop new strategies to enhance their current successful programmes.
The biggest publishers of continuity collections in the world, IMP has traditionally relied on hard-hitting creative treatments mostly via direct mail to invite customers to inspect the cards on a trial basis. The new brief to WPN looks at changing the central offer, as well as the creative.
“IMP would like to find new routes to market besides our traditional direct mail work. We're excited to be working with John Watson and his team at Watson Phillips Norman to test new approaches. If successful in the UK we intend to roll out this approach across Europe and hopefully the rest of the world,” commented IMP Chief Executive Simon McMurtrie.
“IMP are one of the most professional direct marketing companies in Europe and they have been operating at the cutting edge for over 30 years. We're delighted to have the opportunity to work with IMP to take them into new areas,” said John Watson, Managing Partner of Watson Phillips Norman.
