John Eversley - Marketing Director

I started my marketing career on the client side with Avon in the 'eye opening' world of cosmetics, fragrances, skincare and toiletries, everything from mascara to aftershave. Campaign plans, category and product management were ideal preparations for a move to BCA. A background of make up and books, the next natural move had to be a DM agency suit.

Starting in Account Management at Rapp Collins and then WWAV, clients across sectors including Financial Services, Healthcare, Automotive, Retail, FMCG, Travel & Leisure, B2B and Govt... life was 'eventful'. Client Service Director to New Business and Marketing Director at WWAV saw successful pitches (national, pan-Euro and global networks). Nothing inspires more than the sweet taste of new business wins.

One of the founder directors at WPN, I wear many of my previous hats, new business, CSD and business development. Also a member of the DMA Agency Council, time is the biggest challenge. Weekends with family are really precious, even taxi driving my sons around Kent seems rewarding. However, I do find time to indulge my passion for sport and I've even found myself coaching Mini Rugby, one step up from freezing on the line barking chants with my wife and dog!
