Gail Cookson - Client Services Director

I started in direct marketing at Help the Aged, responsible for donor recruitment and development and legacy promotion. A brief stint at DDM Advertising working on financial accounts was followed by a five year period as an independent consultant. This allowed me to juggle the baby and career. I worked with a variety of clients from Diners Club to Friends of the Earth.

I joined WWAV Rapp Collins in 1995.During my time there I worked on most of their major fundraising accounts including Oxfam and RSPCA. I left WWAV in 2002 and took the interim role of Chief Executive at Crusaid, the national fundraiser for HIV and AIDS. In January 2003, I joined John, Maria and Tod as Client Services Director.

When not looking after clients, being a taxi driver for my daughter, I enjoy whizzing around France in a bath tub (Caterham 7 for those who can tell the difference).
