Annette Thurgood - Business Director

Having started out in Retail managing a team of 20 canny salesmen, my baptism of fire into Marketing came at sales promotion agency Triangle quickly heading up accounts such as Coca-Cola and Fisher Price. Moving on from Triangle to IMP (now ARC) working in Youth, Finance and FMCG areas and then onto Marketing Drive leading the Abbey National, Buena Vista, Legoland business amongst others as Deputy Managing Director.

Having decided to find a fresh challenge after the birth of my first child, I seized the opportunity at EHS to integrate the DM and online client service teams after the merger with digital agency Realtime. After four hectic but rewarding years at EHS as Head of Client Service working across a wide variety of business such as OneTel, The Economist, British Gas, Tesco and helping manage the merger with Brann it was time for a very different challenge. In 2005 I joined the team at WPN to help build the agency business working with new and existing clients; Which? VNU Publishing, RIAS and COI. My time at WPN has been great fun and very productive, as well as creating some ground breaking campaigns for clients, enjoying the outdoors, festivals and mud, I have given birth to twins.
