John Watson founded WWAV Rapp Collins which, while he was there, was the leading DM agency in the country. He's recognised as one of the industry gurus, and is an unashamed traditionalist. "It's about results."
Maria Phillips is one of the brightest creative directors in the business, and has been a pioneer in DRTV. Remember the Cancer Research UK 'Mirrors' commercial? That was Maria.
Then there's Tod Norman. With a career spanning mostly market research and above-the-line planning and brand work, Tod came late to the joys of direct marketing. But he learned early on that as far as DMers are concerned, the brand thing only works if it gets results. And Tod can prove that it really does.
But while their names are on the door, they know a good agency is bigger than just them. So Gail Cookson, our client services director, along with John Eversley , Diane Williams and Annette Thurgood, make sure we go a long way beyond good techniques and bright ideas.
